KowledgeLab:

Knowledge-First Social Epistemology

Develops knowledge-first approaches to testimony, disagreement, groups, media.

Evidence:

Knowledge and Understanding Project

Investigates the nature and normatively of evidence and its relation to knowledge and  understanding.

Digital Knowledge Lab

Explores new ways of combatting online misinformation, 'fake news' and the mistrust of expertise.

Legal Epistemology Lab

Explores topics in the epistemology of the law, such as the nature of evidence, reasonable doubt, criminal ignorance, the proof paradox, epistemic and legal responsibility.

Virtue Epistemology of Trust Lab

Investigates the nature and rationality of trust and trustworthiness.

Future of the Internet Hub

Explores research-driven solutions to navigating online epistemic risk, with the aim of shaping, in collaboration with academic and non-academic stakeholders, UK internet policy.

Epistemic Autonomy Lab

Investigates how our thinking about moral and intellectual autonomy should be revised and expanded to help us make sense of the idea that autonomy itself can be structured in our technological and social networks.

Wellbeing Lab

Develops a novel, integrated, proper functionalist account of the nature of wellbeing.
